The "Pet Nanny" provides overnight pet care in your home as
well as dogs walks, kitty visits, housesitting services, ranch care
and basic dog training. In Marin, Sonoma and Napa counties.
When you decide you would like to meet me as your pet sitter, I initially spend at least one hour bonding with your pets during which time I go over my list of requirements for the needs of the pets and home. This one hour meet & greet is free of charge and helps us get to know each other.
During my pet sitting visits to your home, your pet will receive lots of attention and love. Pets are not left longer than 4 hours during the day, during the sit. Their feeding and walking routine, behavioral commands are adhered to strictly.
Intricate needs such as medications or physical limitations and age is not a problem. Special breeds and puppies are welcome!
I leave your home clean and all property is cared for with the utmost respect.
In addition to pet care services, the fees include:
- The maintenance of the home,
- bringing in the mail,
- watering plants,
- taking recycling and trash to the curb.
- cleaning litter box,
- and "picking up the poop"
Anything else that requires special attention will be $5.00 per request. Bathing and Grooming is also available upon request for an additional fee. For Large Breeds and Puppies a special rate will be required.

The "Pet Nanny" has experience in ranch living and animals
This includes the maintenance of Ranch property, watering and overseeing of the Ranch hands duties and knowledge about country living. Care is for the horses, hens, roosters, cows, goats, etc, dogs and of course "the" cat!
Housesitting services
I am also available for just housesitting as well. Even if there are no pets involved I can just "sit" for the house. My past experience as a real estate property manager has given me the experience needed to feel confident and capable with high end real estate caretaking.
Cancellation Policy
I require a 2 week cancellation notice. I do not ask for a deposit up front, however if for any reason you cancel with less than a 2 week notice, the full sit fee is required. SUMMER MONTHS FROM JUNE TO SEPTEMBER AND HOLIDAYS FROM NOVEMBER TO JANUARY require a 3 week cancellation notice.
Basic Training
The Pet Nanny offers basic training for your puppy or dog who has never had that kind of correction. This includes the "basics" come, sit, down, stay. If needed we'll go into establishing a "go to place" in the home so the dog knows its boundaries and place. This is extrmely important for its safety and yours. We'll take walks together to see how Fido does on walks. Very important to get the basics down. A dog only knows what it is told; it does not train itself! I do not do behavorial or correctional training. I have people I refer to for extreme situations. Training is fun and very educational, especially for the first time dog owner. It's not that hard to learn and you'll see how happy your dog is afterwards. Do not wait until its a year old and wonder why it doesn't listen to you!Training fees start at $65.00 per hour.
